Extended Stay Options

Surrounding the former Belle Grae Inn are several large Victorian homes that we have refurbished, appropriately and tastefully furnished, and converted into and one- and two-bedroom flats and apartments. All have full cooking facilities, linens, and bath basics!

City Inn Unlimited's extended stays are perfect  for professionals, those relocating, persons in need of temporary housing during home renovations, and guests who visit Staunton for a long holiday, a season of theater, or to enjoy the village and the Blue Ridge Mountains and  Shenandoah Valley during their favorite season of the  year.

Available by the week, month, or season.
Rates begin @ $45 per night based on one person with a 30-night minimum.

The cottage has a full kitchen, laundry facility, fireplace, Jacuzzi tub, queen-sized bed with large dressing area, and a twin-sized bed with trundle and full bath on entrance level. Includes cable TV and Wi-Fi internet.

The Cornerstone...
(circa 1900) offers  three comfortable suites decorated in a 1930s-motif. All suites have cable television, Wi-Fi internet, radiator heat and window air conditioning.

Lower Cornerstone Offers two bedrooms (one with double-sized, 1860's sleigh bed and one with a full-sized English, sleigh bed), a fireplace, one bath, a sitting room, a wet bar kitchen, and
a veranda.

Cornerstone West has one bedroom with a double-sized, art deco bed, a parlor with a single-sized, day-bed, a wet bar kitchen, a private bath with shower, and it shares the deck
with Cornerstone East.

Cornerstone East has one bedroom with an 1860's, walnut, double-sized bed, and a large
dressing-room bath. It shares the deck with Cornerstone West.

Conference Cottage...

(circa 1895) is perfect for a small family or for traveling singles. The Cottage offers an L-shaped great room with a fireplace, cable TV, and Wi-Fi internet.  This cottage offers two bedrooms (each with queen-size beds), one-and-a-half baths, and a wet-bar kitchen which accesses a small garden. The Cottage has ceiling fans, window air conditioning, and steam heat.

The Bishop's Studio...

(circa 1880) is the first floor of a beautifully-maintained, three-story, Victorian home. The Studio comes with Jefferson windows in the parlor, gas coal fireplaces, a music room, a wet bar kitchen, one bedroom, a private bath, cable TV, Wi-Fi internet, and a Victorian garden. This very private Suite offers accessible parking, ramps to the entrance and is therefore ideal for folks not wanting to deal with stairs. The Bishop's House has central heat and window air conditioning.

The Bishop's Suite...
(circa 1880) is the second floor of the aforementioned Victorian house. The Suite offers a wet bar kitchen, a large bath, and a parlor with cable TV, and Wi-Fi internet. The master bedroom (with large dressing room) has a queen-size canopy bed and features a comfortable conversation area. The second bedroom has a Victorian setting with a queen-sized, sleigh bed.

Madison Upper...
(circa 1880) has one large bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a parlor with a day-bed, a sitting room, a wet bar kitchen (with game table), and a brick patio for cocktails (weather permitting). Twelve-foot-high ceilings with ceiling fans, steam heat, and window air conditioning make Madison House comfortable and charming all year long! Also with cable TV and Wi-Fi internet.

The upper floor of the aforementioned house has a queen-size canopy bed, a parlor (with fireplace and a sitting area), twin-sized, sleigh beds,  a bathroom, and laundry facilities. There is an open-dining, kitchen area, a dining deck overlooking the gardens, and a "widow's balcony" with a view of the  mountains! Also with cable TV and Wi-Fi Internet.
